The Mission of Solaris

To provide care and comfort through innovative palliative care while helping patients and their families put life first.

Meet the team.

Our medical professionals and leaders have been instrumental in changing hospice care for the better throughout Texas.

What We Do

Solaris Hospice provides hospice care to individuals throughout Texas. Our focus is to reduce pain and symptoms so our patients are as comfortable as possible. We help people with illnesses such as cancer, dementia and heart disease when a cure is not available or treatment for a cure is not desired. Our team of doctors, nurses, aides and counselors bring comfort and emotional support to both the patient and family. Related Downloads Notice of Privacy Practices | Standards of Conduct

How We Do It

Solaris Hospice’s medical staff will work alongside your family doctors to provide the best care possible. Solaris nurses, aides and counselors travel to the patient as often as needed to bring comfort and relief. Usually a nurse will visit on a weekly basis to regulate medication and oversee patient care. Our aides are certified nursing assistants and help with tasks like shaving, bathing, changing bed linens and some light housework. We are licensed by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services and a Certified Medicare and Medicaid Provider.
