How do I know if hospice care is right for my loved one?
Your loved one may quality for hospice services if one or more of the following statements are true:
- There is a life-limiting illness such as lung disease, congestive heart failure, cancer or dementia.
- Treatment for a cure is no longer available or is not desired.
- Relief from pain or symptoms resulting from the illness would enhance quality of life.
- The caregivers and patient would benefit from care and assistance at home.
Where do you get hospice care?

What does hospice care include?
Our services are customized to meet the need of the patient. This includes visits from nurses to assist with medications and pain management, help from aides and emotional and spiritual support from our counselors. The cost of medications and medical equipment related to the admitting diagnosis are fully paid for under the hospice benefit.
How much does it cost?
Most of our patients pay nothing out of pocket. Hospice services are covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurance companies.
